Now I wanted to share with you a professional and personal feedback about Home Staging. In 2021, my parents entrusted me with Home Staging’s mission for the sale of a T2 apartment in Dijon. They bought this apartment 20 years earlier to house my brother and I during our university studies. This accommodation was then occupied by my younger brother during his studies. Then, I myself returned to live in this apartment myself during the renovation work of my main residence.

Suffice to say that for ten years, the whole family occupied the premises in turn! It followed 10 years of rental for this property. After 20 years, the parents decided to sell this property. And that’s where I work! Trained in interior decoration and specialized in home staging, I naturally bring them my help. First visit of Tuesday evening, I clearly do to tourists … A curious couple without real desire to go to purchase. In short, no problem, it’s part of the job!

The 1st Wednesday morning visit is going well. I would even say very well since after this visit, I get a 1st offer at the price. Whaouu !!! I am transparent with the person. I explain that I have several visit RV planned all day and that I am not the owner of the property but the owners’ daughter. It is therefore my parents who will make the decisions. I agree with her to give her an answer by the end of the day.

The 2nd Wednesday morning visit is also very good. I have an offer at a price again! Again, I am transparent with the person explaining that this is my 2nd offer at the price. I’m doing with the 3rd visit while preventing the person I just had 2 offers at the price.

It is 12:00. There, I contact my parents to tell them about the situation. 3 visits and 2 offers at the price: what do we do? My parents choose to accept the 1st person’s offer. After family consultation, we validated the principle according to which the priority is granted according to the order of arrival.

I still continued my 3 afternoon visits. After contacting people to tell them that an offer had been accepted, all of them wanted to come and visit. I have an excellent memory of this day of visits, rich and intense in emotions! And to top it all, I met that friendly people! All told me that the good was faithful to the photos, which they really appreciated.
